Our graduate

Well, here's our Preschool graduate! They had a cute ceremony, during which Anya looked completely bored and/or annoyed. I'm not sure why, though- she insists that she wasn't scared or nervous and I know she loves all the songs (she's been singing them for weeks), so I'm not sure what was going on. Anyway, this week is her last one at preschool before summer break, then KINDERGARTEN. Holy cow- everyone is so right about how quickly they grow up!

And as for growing up, thanks for Fancy Nancy, all she talks about now is dressing fancy, wearing accessories, high heels and dresses, and makeup when she's grown up. She doesn't believe me that those things are completely uncomfortable, but I'm sure she'll learn soon enough!

Baz is fast on her heels as far as growing up, too (not with being fancy, though). He doesn't stop talking- ever....particualrly since he's really grasping full sentences and articulating what he's thinking. He also LOVES peeing on the potty. In fact, every time we're out somewhere he asks to pee on the potty. He has no interest in pooping on the potty, though, which would really make life easier. Or if he would stop using the diaper altogether. Oh well- I'm not complaining since it's MUCH easier to change a diaper than clean up messy or wet underwear!

Anya's accidents have just about ended- thank goodness! Turns out she had a UTI in addition to strep throat!!! I feel like mother of the year for not taking her in earlier, but who would think that a kid whose only symptom was frequent accidents was harboring both strep and a UTI? She also loves her abx, which makes life so much better.
